Terms & Condition


Booking and Confirmation


  • All bookings must be made in advance via phone, email, or the official website
  • A booking is only confirmed after receipt of a minimum advance payment of 25%-50% of the total rental or package cost.
  • Final confirmation is subject to availability and acknowledgment by Kanpur Tour and Travels.
  • The remaining payment must be completed before or at the time of vehicle dispatch.

Rental Duration and Billing


  • Minimum rental duration is 4 hours or 80 km, whichever is earlier (for local rentals).
  • Kilometers and hours are calculated from garage to garage
  • For outstation bookings, minimum billing is 300 km/day, irrespective of usage.
  • Extra hours or kilometers beyond the package will be charged at standard rates.
  • Night charges apply between 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Driver Policy


  • All rentals include a professional licensed driver.
  • The driver’s meal and rest breaks must be accommodated by the client.Driver allowance (DA) will be charged for outstation travel.
  • Misbehavior, harassment, or violation of driver rights by passengers will result in immediate termination of service without refund.

Vehicle Condition and Usage


  • Vehicles will be provided in clean and well-maintained condition.
  • Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence or misuse.
  • Smoking, drinking, or carrying illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
  • The vehicle shall not be used for illegal activities or beyond the agreed route/timing.

Cancellations and Refunds


  • Cancellation before 48 hours of scheduled trip: Full refund (excluding transaction fees).
  • Cancellation within 24–48 hours: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours or no-show: No refund.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 working days via the original payment method.

Delays and Liability


  • Kanpur Tour and Travels shall not be held responsible for delays caused by:
  • Traffic congestion
  • Roadblocks or strikes
  • Natural calamities or weather conditions
  • Mechanical failure despite regular maintenance
  • Compensation will not be provided for any loss of business, missed flights/trains, or inconvenience arising from delays.

Passenger Safety


  • All passengers must wear seat belts (where provided).
  • Overloading beyond the permitted capacity is strictly prohibited.
  • Children must be accompanied by adults.
  • Personal belongings must be carried at the passenger’s own risk. The company is not liable for loss/theft.

Outstation Permits & Taxes


  • All tolls, inter-state permits, parking charges, and taxes are to be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated in a package
  • In case of outstation/state travel, required documents and driver’s ID will be provided.

Change of Vehicle


  • In the event of vehicle breakdown or unavailability, a similar or upgraded vehicle may be provided at no extra cost.
  • If a suitable replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued.

Force Majeure


  • The company shall not be liable for service failure or cancellation due to events beyond its control, such as:
    • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes)
    • Political unrest
    • Government regulations
    • Pandemic-related restrictions

Dispute Resolution


  • Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction under the Kanpur (U.P.) courts only.
  • We aim to resolve complaints amicably within 7 working days.

Policy Updates


  • Kanpur Tour and Travels reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice
  • Clients are advised to review the latest terms on the website before booking.
